Fun times with clay!

In-Home and Community Art Lessons in Litchfield County, CT

Visual Arts provide all ages with a unique voice in creative expression.

Being an artist my entire life and a Certified Art Teacher for over 15 years, I have experience in a variety of media. Through the artistic process I provide detailed instruction as well as allowing creative freedom through such media including: drawing, clay, painting, sculpture, photography, etc. I am happy to offer in-home private art lessons that are centered upon building problem solving skills, exploring the creative process as well as designing lessons that encompass the therapeutic properties of making art.

I have worked in one-on-one settings as well as small and large groups that range from pre-school through adult. I also have a sincere passion for working with individuals with special needs. In all of my artistic teaching collaborations, I work with each individual with their level of ability, foster the growing process and provide a positive experience. Patience and encouragement are the roots of my teaching. There is a tremendous amount of satisfaction that comes with being able to complete tasks and witnessing such growth is something I always strive for.
