Nutrition and Wellness Consultations
Optimal health is available in all times and transitions in our lives. I believe that coming to state of balance requires honesty, devotion and compassion, beginning within ourselves. From working within this understanding one is able to then build from a strong foundation. Health and wellness goes beyond diet and exercise, although these two components play a major role, life events also mirror that of our inside. I emphasize this concept by encouraging those to take care of the self and to create more balance into life. When I work with clients we begin by observing the rhythms of the day including: sleeping, eating, resting, hobbies, etc. and from these rhythms I am able to see the patterns that may need more focus or balance in the day to day living. I see each person as a unique individual and assess their needs accordingly within a holistic framework. Through an open dialogue, I use my skills as a compassionate, active listener to address specific areas that may need attention and be brought into better balance. We should always remember that the journey in maintaining a healthy life is a joyful process, much like riding a wave and trusting the ebb and flow.
As a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, I am happy to work with Individuals, Couples and Families to create and sustain healthy relationships with food and ourselves through mindful practices.
Nutrition and Wellness Consultations can be arranged as a single meeting or as an ongoing commitment for six months and beyond. Consultations can also be combined with any of the modalities that are offered including Creative Movement, Reiki Energy Healing, etc. as a package.
