$25; $22 for Region 12 residents. Cost includes supplies.

Join Farmer Patrick, artist Kaitlin Clark, and Floof, a Polish crested Bantam chicken for an afternoon farm tour, art-making, and trivia. Visitors to Waldingfield Farm will learn how food and farming affect our lives and the world around us, and how Waldingfield is part of creating a sustainable, healthy community. Along the way, they will gather plant materials to use in their clay sculptures inspired by Floof and their experience on the farm–and Kaitlin and Floof will challenge the group with some chicken trivia! Although families are invited to enjoy this program, students are welcome to get dropped off for the session.

Description of Classes:
Join us for a fun and creative 6-week course in ceramics where students will learn a variety of clay building techniques including both hand building as well as wheel-thrown pieces. Pieces will then be glazed and fired. Afternoon classes are available for homeschool students as well as after school sessions for those attending school. All levels of skill are welcome and projects will be customized to adapt to the interests of each student. These courses are open to students ages 8-16. (Flexible on age range)
Class fees: $240 per student (+ $15.24 tax)
Additional fees: $30 for clay and firing.
Total: $285.24
Includes clay, firing and glazes.

Nature Inspired Jewelry

Join us through imaginative explorations in a variety of media and techniques, to create jewelry inspired by nature. Introductions will be made to a new process each week, through the elements of art and connecting to the natural world. Materials and techniques will include printmaking, clay, collage, resin sculpture, and more! At the end of each session children will bring home their own unique wearable works of art.
Cost: $185 (plus $11.75 tax) and $25 material fee

Parent/Child Adventures in Clay
Ages 3-5 with an Caregiver

Join us for a fun and creative experience as we explore adventures in clay! This class focuses on creativity and the art making process. Through observation, attention to detail and our imaginations, we will explore space, shapes, colors and more. Techniques and concepts incorporate the use of problem solving, cognitive and cooperative learning techniques. Childrens' literature books are the focus on a theme such as insects, nature, animals, seasons landscapes, etc. This class requires the parent/caregiver's attendance and participation.
*Clay, firing and glazing are included in the material fee.

Join us for an exciting four-week series and explore a variety of media and techniques inspired by the work of world-renowned artists. Each week you go on an art adventure through storybooks and process art, using paint, pastels, clay, collage, sculpture, and more! At the end of each session, you take home your masterpiece inspired by a specific artist.
